クックパッドオフィスのキッチンで開発についてお話する Cookpad Tech Kitchen。
第14回の今回は、クックパッドの海外展開とそのサービス開発についてお届けします。
登壇者は、UKオフィスに勤務する日本人2名と日本からglobalサービス開発に従事するEnglish Speakerの2名。
クックパッドの海外展開は、現在8拠点におよび月間利用者数は約3000万人。そして対応言語は22言語68ヶ国となっています。異文化の中で多国籍メンバーとともにどのようにサービス開発を行っているのかたっぷりとご紹介します！（2017年9月末時点）

西山 勇世 「Working at Cookpad UK」

大学では文学を専攻するも、論理学を経て計算機科学に関心を持つようになり、プログラマを志す。イギリスはブリストルにて、iOSテックリードとして海外展開に従事。『Swift実践入門』の著者。
Yusei Nishiyama is a senior iOS developer at Cookpad. He majored in philosophy and aesthetics but the beauty of programming languages led him to become a programmer and he has now been working with iOS since 2012.

Pawel Rusin 「Workflow and development in globally distributed mobile teams」

Since arriving in Japan in 2012 splitting time between iOS and Android development. Recently took over the task of making sense of log tables as a Cookpad Global Data Analysis tech lead. Never walks without his Kindle reader and a backup printed book.

滝口 健太郎 「20言語以上に対応している検索システムが楽しくない訳がない」

2013年入社、2014年から海外プロジェクトに携わり、2016年末にイギリスに引っ越し、現在はDiscoveryチームでAndroid、Rails、検索、機械学習、データ分析などをやっている。
Joined Cookpad in 2013 and moved to the UK where our HQ is located at the end of 2016 to focus on the global project. Recently work on Android, Rails, search, machine learning, and data analysis in Discovery team.
